Enable Multifactor Authentication
To enable MFA, first log into the platform. Once inside, click on your name in the upper right hand corner. Select 'Profile' from the drop down menu.
Click over to the 'Account Settings' tab, then click on 'Edit' on the Multifactor Authentication card.
You are able to choose between two MFA methods - SMS or OTP. The One Time Password method requires an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy), and the SMS option will send a code to your mobile phone via text.
Click the button to configure your desired method of MFA.
We recommend using the OTP method with an authenticator app. When using this method, you will scan a QR code with your authenticator app, and then type in the code it gives you to verify the account. You will navigate to this app to find the code each time you log in from here on.
When using the SMS method, you must have a mobile number associated with your account. You can add or update your number at the bottom of this screen.
Check the box to 'Accept our Consent to Privacy Policy agreement', and a privacy policy will pop up. Scroll down on this policy and click the button to accept. Check the box next to 'Use two-factor authentication' and a message will be sent to your phone.
Enter the code and click 'Verify'. You will be texted a code each time you log in from here on.
Disable Multifactor Authentication
To disable MFA, navigate to your profile. Once here, click over to the 'Account Settings' tab and find the Multifactor Authentication card. Under your enabled MFA method, click 'Edit'.
Under the enabled verification method, click the 'Configure' button.
To disable the SMS method, uncheck the box next to 'Use two-factor authentication'. You will be sent a 6 digit code, enter the code and click 'Verify'.
To disable the OTP method you will click the button to 'Deactivate', then enter the 6 digit code on your authenticator app. Click 'Disable' to confirm.
